Mary is a licensed mental health therapist dedicated to fostering strong, empathetic connections with children and families. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise in creating inclusive, supportive environments that prioritize the emotional and developmental needs of children. With a dual master's degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University and a PhD in Cultural Studies in Education from Washington State University, Mary has spent the last 7 years as faculty in the Children’s Studies department at Eastern Washington University. In her teaching, she focuses on building foundational skills for supporting children and families through courses like Mindfulness Practices for Working with Children, Play & Playwork, Children’s Grief & Loss, and Foundations of Nature-Based Learning.
Mary's work emphasizes a holistic, trauma-informed approach to mental health. She is a Certified Kids Yoga Teacher, Certified Trauma Yoga Teacher, Certified Meditation Teacher, and Certified Children’s Anxiety Specialist, all of which reflect her commitment to offering children and families accessible, diverse tools for emotional well-being. She is currently training in Somatic Experiencing and is deeply engaged in the emerging field of Walk & Talk Therapy, bringing an integrative approach to healing and connection. Chloe is a passionate advocate for early childhood education, holding a degree in Children's Studies that has equipped her with a deep understanding of child development and the importance of nurturing young minds. As a PreK teacher, she strives to create a warm and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. In addition to her teaching, Chloe is a certified children's yoga instructor, integrating mindfulness and movement into her curriculum to promote physical wellness and emotional balance among her students. She believes in the power of mindfulness practices to help children develop self-awareness, resilience, and a sense of calm. Chloe’s journey in education is fueled by her commitment to fostering creativity, curiosity, and compassion in every child. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of the children she teaches, empowering them to become confident and mindful individuals.
With her Bachelor’s degree in Children’s Studies from Eastern Washington University, Robin brings over eight years of experience in early childhood education. Robin is passionate about play-based, whole-child learning, which emphasizes creativity, exploration, and emotional development. She believes every child is unique, and her approach centers on creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe and free to be themselves.
Brady Certified Teacher | Advocate for Children's Education | Tutor at Flock Brady is a dedicated educator with a strong commitment to fostering a love for learning in children. He earned his bachelor's degree in Education from Eastern Washington University, followed by a master's degree in English Language Learning from Western Governors University (WGU). With a passion for advocacy work in children’s education, Brady is devoted to helping students recognize their potential and build confidence in their abilities. His approach emphasizes individualized support and encouragement, ensuring that each child feels empowered to thrive academically and personally. Brady is excited to offer his tutoring services at Flock, where he aims to provide tailored instruction that meets the unique needs of each learner. He believes that every child has the capacity to succeed, and he is eager to inspire a lifelong love of learning in those he works with.
